WE. ARE. MOVING.
For the 3rd time.
In three years.
(Okay, I was just trying to be dramatic there). We literally have "moved" into three different apartments in three years. But this time, we are moving BACK HOME.
<tears in my eyes>
I feel so unbelievably blessed to say that Dustin and I are moving back to North Carolina. And not just anywhere in North Carolina but to Wilkesboro. . . where Dustin grew up.
Dustin has accepted the worship pastor position at Celebration Church (where he got saved and where the Lord told him he would be a worship leader and interned for 40 hrs/wk when he was 17 to learn just how to do that). Celebration is also where the Lord told me I was depending on my Plan B and not God's plan for my life and because of that, I changed my major and became a nurse.
So this place is special to us.
And this place has very special people that mean a lot to us.
So we feel completely humbled and honored to have been chosen and believed in to come back home. Dustin and I just keep saying, we are ready to put down roots. We are ready to dig in deep and watch Heaven invade a community like never before and to release the Kingdom into every area of life.
So, Wilkesboro, I am praying for you. And I am praying for us. I am praying for Celebration. We don't take this lightly, and we won't take this for granted. There is work to be done. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and the kingdom of darkness, and we are called to the same. But we are also called to believe that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). And we will do just that.
We cannot WAIT!!
